About

For the past 15 years I have been actively involved in the Quincy Public Schools community.  My journey began as a parent volunteer on the Bernazzani Elementary School PTO and led to serving as the Citywide PTO co-president from May 2021 until March 2025.

I have over 30 years of experience in child development, family support, and program development, and I have dedicated my career to teaching, mentoring, and management of child care organizations. I graduated from SUNY at Stonybrook with a BA in English Literature and received my Master of Education degree in Infant and Toddler Behavior and Development and Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Early Intervention Birth to Three from Wheelock College.

I currently work as the director of a cooperative early learning center. I interact daily with children and their families, supervise teaching staff, manage the center's budget, and ensure the center's fiscal viability. My most recent professional continuing education has been in trauma-informed care and infant mental health.

I have lived in Quincy since 2003 with my husband, Matthew Lee, and our children. Over the past 15 years we have welcomed more than 20 foster children into our home.
